Keep The Memories & Release The Trout

As the Wisconsin population continues to grow and more and more people discover the joy of fly fishing for trout we need to remember our natural resources are not unlimited. We cannot continue to take out of our rivers and lakes the things we enjoy so much and expect them to magically be there in the future. By practicing catch and release and helping protect our Wisconsin lakes and streams we can continue to enjoy our sport for many years while giving the trout a chance to grow and reproduce naturally. I cannot believe that anyone who really enjoys fly fishing for wild trout is looking for a "put & take" experience in the beautiful waters of Wisconsin. Let's keep the moment in our memories and release the trout so we can enjoy our sport for years to come and give our children something wonderful to experience too.
